Technical Project Manager

The Implementation Project Manager will be responsible for running all onboardings of new customers on our platform and ensuring new feature releases are released on time and meet client expectations. They will work with our clients to create and execute on a plan, driving a huge impact to both their business and our business. They will work with large well-known retail brands driving multi-million dollar increases in incremental revenue for them. They will own the end-to-end implementation process, including timelines, stakeholder relationships, technical & functional requirements and communication with clients. 


  • Define project objectives and gather client requirements that support both FINDMINE and the client’s goals for successful implementation

  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Account Management, Engineering, Business Intelligence & Product teams to deliver business value

  • Responsible for all aspects of project management and coordination, conducting kick-off meetings to establish and communicate project plans, milestones, goals, and associated processes and post-project retrospectives.

  • Work cross-functionally to clearly define goals, success criteria, and ensure technical & functional requirements are understood and delivered 

  • Prepare estimates and maintain detailed project plans for all phases of the project

  • Own planning, implementation, and execution on end-to-end client onboarding and new feature development processes

  • Write detailed and clear technical and functional requirements based on discussions with Engineering team

  • Ensure any changes to requirements, corresponding timeline changes and tradeoffs are well understood by internal and external stakeholders

  • Hold the team accountable to deliverables and timelines (including clients!) 

  • Assist in the development and documentation of new product features and functionality

  • Identify, analyze, and communicate project risks and dependencies as well as their corresponding solutions

  • Measure project outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement, including running post-mortums and retrospectives 

  • Ensure communication is smooth, clear, and everyone always knows the most up-to-date status and information needed to execute their part of the process


  • 3+ years of professional experience in software project management or a similar role, preferably client-facing

  • Effective communication and team facilitation skills, with the ability to translate from developers to executives to clients with ease and clarity 

  • Project management skills including building timelines, analysis of dependencies, negotiating with stakeholders, and articulating tradeoffs

  • Track record of running successful complex projects to completion with clear communication and maximum team efficiency 

  • High degree of comfort writing technical and functional requirements clearly, while understanding how each impacts a complex system  

  • Basic technical familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and APIs

  • Ability to analyze larger datasets (10s of thousands of products) and draw conclusions and identify edge case scenarios

  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills

Nice to Haves

  • Professional experience in related fields: retail, fashion, SaaS APIs and/or eCommerce

  • PMP Certification or similar 

  • Experience managing, integrating or implementing Machine Learning solutions

  • Experience in startup environment, building processes from scratch in a high paced environment

  • Technical proficiency in HTML/CSS/Javascript

  • Visual design skills
